The original 1989 Nike MAG from Back to the Future II is up for sale once again. Having been auctioned off in late November of last year for a staggering $200,000 USD, this time around only one shoe of the legendary pair will be available for purchase.
Currently listed on Shoezeum’s eBay profile, the mimicked self-lacing sneaker worn by Michael J. Fox‘s character Marty McFly in the film is currently at a bid of $16,600 USD. The shoe features a blue-flecked foam sole, LED lights in the heel, and a glowing Nike logo on the strap. In the photos above, the shoe is clearly in an extremely fragile state, seeing that the heel piece has completely crumbled off.
Interested fans of this one-of-a-kind sneaker can head over to Shoezeum’s eBay profile to place your bid for a piece of pop culture history. The shoe is only available for in-person pick-up in the Portland area.
