Japanese provocateurs WACKO MARIA join forces with long-running stoner magazine High Times for an extensive summertime capsule collaboration. Encompassing a variety of lightweight layers, the range is heavy on referential graphics; various magazine covers and marijuana plant imagery informs the entirety of the drop. Coaches and stadium jackets boast reprinted High Times covers on the rear, with co-branding on the front. A Virgin Mary graphic appears as a nod to past WACKO MARIA themes, but it’s far outnumbered by the High Times theme; WACKO MARIA’s iconic aloha shirts sport various magazine covers or all-over marijuana plant leaf prints, executed across a variety of base colors. Similarly bold prints elevate hoodies, shorts, tote bags and bandanas, while a sweater & zip parka tone down the graphics to emphasize the red, yellow and green Rastafarian flag colors.
Look for the collaborative goods to hit WACKO MARIA’s web store on July 6, following an in-store release party.
Most recently, Canada became the second nation to legalize marijuana.
