Instagram May Soon Allow You to Ask Questions in Stories
The app bets big on interactive stories.
With Instagram recently announcing a string of new Story features — ranging from a new shopping function to the addition of music — the photo-sharing service may soon allow you to ask questions via your Stories. According to reports, the new feature will allow users to ask for a response to their story, with followers then able to type a reply.
As it stands, there is no news on when or if the new questions function will be rolled out across the app. The trial period doesn’t appear to be region-specific, with the new feature already reported by users in both Italy and Indonesia. The feature is believed to be part of Instagram’s attempt to make Stories more interactive to keep users hooked on the app.
Instagram also recently announced the launch of hour-long videos via IGTV.
