'John Wick 4' Receives an Official 2021 Release Date
“You have served. You will be of service.”

Lionsgate has confirmed a fourth chapter in the adrenaline-fueled John Wick saga. The studio announced the news of the next installment and its premiere date via a text message to fans, writing, “You have served. You will be of service. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming – May 21, 2021.”
Franchise director Chad Stahelski was asked about the possibility of John Wick 4 during a Reddit AMA, answering that the fate of any upcoming films would depend on the fans and how well John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum does at the box office. However, the director slipped up about a successor when asked which installment from the John Wick films was most difficult to make. “One was difficult because we didn’t understand what we wanted to do” he answered. “Number two, we had to map up a whole world we didn’t think of before. Three, how do we expand and get the audience something creative, not just bigger and cooler. Number four, I’m certain, will be more difficult.”
Parabellum over-performed box office expectations, opening in North American cinemas with $56.8 million and dethroning the No. 1 reign of Avengers: Endgame. The third Keanu Reeves-led film also garnered more than the opening weekends of predecessors, beating 2014’s John Wick debut of $14.4 million USD and 2017’s John Wick: Chapter 2 debut of $30.4 million USD.
John Wick 4 is scheduled to premiere May 21, 2021. While you wait, make sure to catch John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in theaters now.
In other entertainment news, the Game of Thrones series finale has broken a 17-year-old HBO record.
