Fucking Awesome Rejoins Vans to Revive Collaborative Authentic C Pro Sneakers
A nod to FA’s original sneaker team-up from 2013.

Fucking Awesome has made big moves recently, with Jason Dill’s skate label preparing to open its first-ever physical location in California. The brand will commemorate the opening with a quintet of special Vans Authentic C Pro sneakers, recalling FA’s first-ever collaboration with the shoe company back in 2013.
Back when details about Dill‘s label were scarce, Fucking Awesome made waves with its over-branded Authentic C Pro kicks, one of the first official release from the label. It was both an affirmation of the brand’s roots in skate culture and an affirmation of FA’s progressive design aesthetic.
The latest round of collaborative Vans lightly tweak the original colorways, offering up neutral black/white and white iterations alongside red/white, orange/white and “Rasta White” variants. Each pair boasts a different midsole, sometimes with tonal foxing, with Fucking Awesome branding emblazoned across the toe and heel, occasionally in contrasting hues. Solid-toned canvas informs the midfoot, with laces to match. Metal eyelets lend the low-top shoes a premium touch.
The elevated Vans Authentics drop in-store at the new Hollywood location on May 11 before hitting Fucking Awesome’s website on May 15. Compare the new models above to the original collaborative Authentics below.
Elsewhere, Jason Dill’s pals at Supreme introduced their collaborative Vans sneakers for Spring/Summer 2019.
