Babylon LA Links With Japanese Streetwear Heavyweights for Tokyo-Exclusive Drop
Encompassing collaborative goods from NEIGHBORHOOD, READYMADE, Wasted Youth and BOUNTY HUNTER.
Babylon LA enjoyed a successful Osaka pop-up in early May, and aims to elevate to out-do itself with an even bigger Tokyo opening later this month. To ensure the event’s scope outsizes the last event, the Californian brand has tapped Japanese streetwear heavyweights ranging from NEIGHBORHOOD to BOUNTY HUNTER for must-have collaborative gear.
The aforementioned two labels offer graphic-heavy items for the event; NEIGHBORHOOD delivers a co-branded, text-heavy black tee while BOUNTY HUNTER delivers both a black “BABYLON HUNTER” shirt and an abstract-printed white tee, complemented by all-over-print pants. Elsewhere, Verdy‘s Wasted Youth imprint yields an over-dyed grey hoodie and black hat with three-dimensional co-branded tags. A white T-shirt also offers joint logos, utilizing the same flower-in-beercan graphic on the rear as the hoodie. Finally, READYMADE offers a pack T-shirt set, with three tees included in each set, complete with LA-graffiti-inspired “READYMADE” text.
Prior to the capsule’s release on May 11 at Babylon LA’s Tokyo pop-up, a commemorative party is scheduled for May 10 at Shibuya’s HARLEM night club hosted by TRASH TALK and kZm.
