A Kind of Guise Journeys to Indonesia for SS19 Ikat-Infused Collection
Each shirt features a different color and pattern.

A Kind of Guise traveled to Indonesia for its upcoming launch, sourcing a number of dead-stock Ikat fabrics to craft its upcoming Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The 33-piece capsule features a range of short-sleeved button-ups, spanning different colors and unique prints throughout the assortment.
Each style has gone through an intricate process in which bundles of yarn are tied together and then dyed, lending abstract patterns across the board. The pieces were then sewn by hand in Germany, a nod to the brand’s penchant for traditional craftsmanship. Mother of pearl buttons and an interior logo patch round the shirts off.
The special Ikat collection will launch on May 5 at 6 p.m. CST exclusively via raffle on A Kind of Guise’s website.
