Since U.K. retailer size? and adidas Originals teamed up on the special-edition “Vienna” sneaker earlier this month, the collaborators have revived yet another archival silhouette to add to their ongoing collection. This time, the duo have pulled out adidas’ Trimm Trab “Trimmy” footwear, a silhouette created in support of Germany’s nationwide “Trimm dich, durch sport” (translated to “Get fit, do sports”) campaign in the 1970s.
The shoe retains its original blue colorway, which features a navy nubuck upper with matching tonal laces. “Argentina Blue” accents brighten up the style at the heel tabs and the Three Stripes design at the side panels. A metallic “TRIMM-TRAB” logo stamp adds a gold touch, while a PU outsole finishes it off.
