adidas & sivasdescalzo Get Contrast-Heavy on BOOST-Equipped Sobakov
A bright rework of the soccer-inspired sneaker.
sivasdescalzo is the latest store to be enrolled by the adidas Consortium program, this time working on the Three Stripes’ soccer-inspired Sobakov.
The luxury retailer reworks more than just the colorway and fabric of the Sobakov, too. Since it released one year ago, the silhouette has been untouched — but now sivasdescalzo will be adding adidas‘ BOOST technology to the sneaker in black, pairing it to a sculpted gum sole unit. adidas will continue the utilize BOOST equipment for general release Sobakov’s, developing the terrace sneakers lineup.
Other physical tweaks to the standard Sobakov include the midsole, seeing it rise higher and climb up the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. sivasdescalzo finishes off the reworked body with a gum heel cap, which sits in between the black BOOST unit and bright “Power Blue” leather rear quarter panel.
The Sobakov uses orange suede for its warped Three Stripes, which are contrasted by a green mesh body panel, black mesh toe box, and a white leather tongue. The tongue is finished with the Consortium stamp, seeing a hole-punched tab crown the tongue with a football-themed emblem. White stitching contrasts the collaborative shoe allover.
The sivasdescalzo x adidas Consortium Sobakov BOOST will retail for €180 EUR (approx. $200 USD) on May 9 at sivasdescalzo stores and online.
