August 08 Gets Channel Tres to Remix "Blood On My Hands"

Red Bull Records artist August 08 releases a remix to his hit song “Blood on My Hands” with fellow LA-based artist Channel Tres. Perfect for your summertime function, the record gets an extra bounce that will have you on your feet.
“I was happy to collaborate with Channel Tres who is a longtime friend while highlighting what we’ve been doing musically for years in our hometown of Los Angeles,” August 08 says. “Channel Tres approach to production on the ‘Blood on My Hands’ remix featuring Smino represents our shared view of not conforming to the perceived limitations of urban music. The verses come in when they come in and the same as the hook – I wanted the track to be reminiscent of jazz and house music, fluid in its sound and reflective of black music culture.”
Channel Tres adds, “I acted on my emotions artistically and approached production on the track from a place of honesty. I listened to the lyrics and selected pieces that felt the most relevant to the heart of the track.”
