George Condo Opens "What's the Point?" Exhibition at Sprüth Magers
Featuring a host of all-new artworks.

Sprüth Magers will be spotlighting George Condo‘s “What’s the Point” exhibition in Los Angles, exploring the question of consistency through vivid interpretations of the human figure.
Monika Sprüth and Philomene Magers will be presenting the exhibition of brand new paintings from the contemporary American artist, showcasing works that reference art history, music, philosophy, and pop culture such as portraiture from the 17th-century that captured beggars and thieves and questioning what is real and what is false.
Condo creates abstract works that deliver disorder, as Condo said himself, “There is no guideline to the unknown. It is a path cut out in the wild with a machete looking for a clearing and hoping to arrive at a destination.” You can experience the exhibition for yourself at the Sprüth Magers, Los Angeles from April 9 to June 1, 2019.
