mita sneakers & WHIZ LIMITED Team up on Reflective Color-Blocked New Balance MS574 V2
Complete with 3M branding.

New Balance has teamed up with mita sneakers and WHIZ LIMITED for the release of a reworked MS574 V2, creating a multicolored runner for Spring/Summer 2019.
The collaboration works with the NB 574 silhouette, a pair which was recently reinterpreted by Junya Watanabe, but sees the sneaker utilize its modernized C-CAP fresh foam sole unit. New Balance’s open-cell polyurethane technology provides added flexibility and support, while color-blocked black mesh and suede with flashes of red, blue and 3M complement the panelled uppers’ refreshing rework – a colorway which coincides with WHIZ LIMITED’s SS19 “Screen” collection.
3M piping outlines the large “N” New Balance branding and is also used to highlight the toe cap, while nubuck and nylon are used to construct the sneakers upper vamp and eyestay. Complete with a grip-tread outsole and color-coded rear pull tabs, head to mita sneakers on April 13 at 10 AM JST to be in with a chance of purchasing a pair of the limited edition sneakers, priced at ¥ 15, 900 JPY (approx. $140 USD).
