A Closer Look at the BAPE x F1 Helmet & Jacket and How to Win One

We are teaming up with streetwear stalwart BAPE to giveaway a limited edition Formula 1 helmet and jacket.
The Shanghai and Hong Kong exclusive outerwear item was officially unveiled late last week as part of BAPE’s latest collaborative effort with Formula 1. The hooded black jacket features 1ST CAMO running up the inner portions of the sleeves while also sporting “A Bathing Ape” and “F1 1000” motives that have been embellished throughout. Over on the helmet, BAPE’s ubiquitous 1ST CAMO in green dresses the entirety of the item, while white “A Bathing Ape” branding runs along the left and right sides. “F1” and a large Ape Head insignia on the back portion have also been added to coveted piece.
The BAPE x F1 collaboration was first teased during the label’s 25th anniversary celebrations held last year in Tokyo. This special collaborative range also celebrated the 2019 Formula 1 Heineken China Grand Prix, which marked the 1,000th event for F1.
The jacket was only available to purchase at BAPE outposts in Hong Kong and Shanghai while the helmet was not released to the public, meaning one lucky reader will also be winning bragging rights.
