Sega Announces Four New Games Ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Video game developer Sega announces four new game titles during Sega Fes 2019, its annual festival, ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Tapping into the significant sporting event, Sega has obtained official licensing rights and will release the official video game for the Olympics.
Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game, will first hit stores in Japan and Asia this summer 2019. Sports enthusiasts will be able to create their own avatar and compete in Olympic Games events with gamers around the world. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, and worldwide in 2020.
Tokyo 2020 will also reunite characters Sonic and Mario, similar to the title released by Sega during the Rio Olympics. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will release on Nintendo Switch later this year, encompassing a compilation of mini-games influenced by around various sports, utilising the Joy-Con features. An Arcade Edition will also be launching around the same time.
To complement the Mario & Sonic title, Sega will release Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Releasing on iOS and Android in 2020, this isn’t as intense as the other titles, with easy touch controls.
Game titles could change, and additional Western release information will be announced at a later date.
