Following the announcement that Nike will be re-releasing the Zoom GP for its 20th anniversary, news has surfaced that the ’90s basketball silhouette will also see a Seattle SuperSonics colorway set for a release this Spring.

Gary Payton‘s signature sneaker pays homage to his 13 years at the SuperSonics, seeing a premium mixture of “Cosmic Bonsai” suede, white leather and “Team Crimson” mesh and leather accents adorn its asymmetrical upper. With its skewed lace cover, the Zoom GP was designed to be function-first and features a self-adjustable ratcheting buckle on the lateral side for extra support, accessibility and comfort adjustment.

Finished with a bold embroidered gold and crimson Swoosh logo on the lace cover, a “Zoom GP” branded heel tab and complementing laces, the Nike Zoom GP is set to release on May 18 with a pricetag of €150 EUR (approx. $170 USD). Head to retailers such as Sivasdescalzo to be in with a chance of purchasing a pair when they release.
