Original Story: First seen back in January, we now have a closer look at A-COLD-WALL*‘s collaborative Nike Zoom Vomero +5 in red. Spotlighted by founder and creative director Samuel Ross, the technical running sneaker offers a new warm hue, complete with distressing.
Seen on-feet, the running sneaker retains the chunky back portion that distinguishes A-COLD-WALL*’s version from the standard Vomero +5. Faded red hues appear across the upper and midsole, with light distressing playing upon the latter. The red is deeper at certain points — the Swoosh, mid-panel and heel bumper are all saturated — while other parts yield a faded tone, like on the laces and forefoot mesh. A-COLD-WALL* branding accents the toe on the lateral side to complete the collaborative design.
