Jordan Brand Drops an All-New AJ1 Cargo
A classic look refreshed with cargo netting.
Arguably one of the most iconic sneakers, the Air Jordan 1 has come in every colorway under the Sun. Now, the Jumpman takes it one step further by revamping part of the silhouette with the Air Jordan 1 Cargo.
The shoe comes in a clean white colorway, providing a good balance with its relatively complex construction. Leaning towards the now popular military-inspired aesthetic, the new AJ1 Cargo features a highly textural cargo netting on its midfoot, overlaying on the black Swoosh logo which shines through the gaps to create subtle branding. The tongue and heel tabs have also been updated to add to the already layered look of the sneaker. Finishing touches include “Metallic Silver” and “Orange Blaze” accents along with a black hangtag, an accessory that’s become widely popular.
The Air Jordan 1 Cargo is set to hit select retailers and the Nike store this month for a retail price of $130 USD.
