Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke Haunt Stadium Goods While 'Sneaker Shopping'
The ‘Us’ stars beast over Nike collaborations.
Hot off the successful weekend debut of Jordan Peele’s Us, stars of the film Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke immediately went Sneaker Shopping at Stadium Goods.
As the pair opened the show alongside their doppelgangers from the blockbuster release, they each talk to host Joe La Puma about their experience while filming, LeBron James‘ reaction to the movie trailer and what happened when Lupita wore Kung-Fu Kenny’s kicks one day on-set.
It’s revealed early that Duke had aspirations to become a fashion designer. He drew wardrobes he’d hope to release on his own line of clothing. He’d always draw vibrant pieces, an expressive attitude he’d attain from his family and being from the Caribbean. Lupita’s aunt was a designer and by extension, is where the actress learned to design herself and acquire her unique tastes in wardrobes.
Highlight kicks that the pair walked away with include Winston’s favorite Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Beast and Lupita’s Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 Viotech.
