PALMS Casino Resort Ushers in a New Era with Its "Unstatus Quo" Campaign
Starring Dapper Dan, Cardi B, REVOK and more.
Las Vegas mainstay PALMS Casino Resort is celebrating the completion of its $690 million USD renovation with an equally ambitious campaign. The new film, titled “Unstatus Quo,” features an impressive roster of cultural icons from the realms of music, fashion, art, skating and beyond. Cardi B, Emily Ratajkowski, Ezra Miller, Dapper Dan, Rita Ora, Marshmello and REVOK are just a few of the names the film brings together.
As its name suggests, “Unstatus Quo” taps into PALMS ethos for going against the norm, hinting at its one-of-a-kind hospitality experience. Among its highlights, the extravagant film shows artist REVOK painting over a classical artwork, Ryan Sheckler skating across a dining room table and Cardi B fanning herself with stacks of money in a hotel suite. In addition to the many celeb sightings, the film also features a brand new track by Los-Angeles-based artist Duckwrth which features a sample of James Browns’ “Get On The Good Foot.”
The campaign comes on the heels of a multi-year makeover for PALMS, which happens to be the most expensive renovation in Vegas history. In addition to redesigned rooms, a new nightclub, and revamped casino floor (complete with shark tank), the hotel is also making waves with its 9,000 square foot suite outfitted with six Damien Hirst original works.
