'Neon Genesis Evangelion' Is Arriving to Netflix in June
Fans rejoice.
After giving fans a first look the anime adaptation of Yumi Tamura’s adventure mystery manga 7 Seeds, Netflix has just announced another legendary animation will be coming to the site in June, Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Initial talks of Neon Genesis Evangelion coming to the streaming giant originally surfaced around four months ago. Though details since then remain scarce, Netflix finally shared a quick 40-second video to its YouTube channel to announce the arrival. Hideaki Anno’s anime series has grown into a cult classic since debuting back in 1995. Though in the past the series was hard to obtain, due to limited and expensive DVD and Blu-ray sets, its arrival to Netflix will ensure fans from all over the world will be able to enjoy the complex story with ease.
Neon Genesis Evangelion will arrive to Netflix on June 21 with 26 episodes followed by two films, Death True² and The End of Evangelion.
