'Black Mirror' Season 5 Enlists Anthony Mackie & Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
From ‘Avengers’ and ‘Aquaman.’
So far details on the fifth season of Charlie Brooker‘s hit anthology series Black Mirror have been scarce. However today word has broken out that both Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II have been casted in the upcoming season, reports Deadline.
Both actors are known worldwide for their roles in big blockbuster superhero films: Mackie as Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta in Aquaman. At this time it remains unknown if both aforementioned actors will appear in the same episode or not. Another actor confirmed to star in the upcoming season is Miley Cyrus. Look for Black Mirror‘s fifth season to land this year, which was confirmed by Netflix.
Mackie will appear in Altered Carbon‘s second season, while Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is currently in talks to star in Jordan Peele’s Candyman reboot.
