Jordan Brand Apex-Utility: Merging the Past, Present and Future
A closer look at the conglomerated new sneaker.
Jordan Brand is taking a page out of Nike‘s tech book with the Apex-Utility. Arriving just in time for the spring, the upcoming release fuses the modern Air Jordan 1 Flyknit with Nike’s React midsole technology. The mashup houses the lightweight Air Jordan 1 upper within a translucent shroud — made popular with the React Element 87 — that’s met with adjustable heel straps for a customizable fit. Further details include bold red tongue and heel tabs with “VISITOR” branding as a nod to guests stepping within the walls of Nike HQs worldwide. Lastly, minimal Jumpman signs are added on the heel and throughout its Proto-React upper.

The Jordan Apex-Utility releases on March 14 for $200 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS. If you’re sold on the Jordan Apex-Utility, check out A Ma Maniere’s tease of its forthcoming Jordan Proto Max 720.
