KITH Treats Cooks Up Ransom Collection for National Cereal Day
Using cut-out letters from popular cereals for the graphic.
KITH Treats is in the spirit for National Cereal Day (March 7), releasing the graphic-driven Treats Ransom capsule collection in tandem with the occasion. The pieces are inspired by classic breakfast cereals, featuring lettering pulled from the boxes of various recognizable brands.
Within the limited range are T-shirts and hoodies that all feature a “Treats” graphic front and center. The design was created in the likeness of a cut-out ransom message, with identifiable letters from popular cereals such as Trix and Lucky Charms forming the drawing. Navy, black and white are used as base colors on the styles, allowing the multicolored illustration to stand out against the neutrals. A list of KITH Treats’ worldwide locations, including Brooklyn, Miami, and Tokyo, are listed on the back of each item. 100% heavyweight cotton comprises the fabrication throughout the assortment.
To mark the launch, the brand hid two shirts from the collection at one of its favorite New York grocery stores, Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market. “Whoever grabs it first can have it,” KITH Treats said in an Instagram post.
As for others looking to make a purchase from the Treats Ransom collection, the capsule is available now from $55 USD up to $155 USD at all U.S. KITH Treats shops and on KithTreats.com. It will release at the label’s Tokyo store on Sunday, March 10.
