Lucky Number 13: UNDEFEATED Launches Kyoto Outpost With More Exclusive Merch
Another special drop to commemorate the brand’s latest Japanese store.
Following the launch of last week’s Osaka store, UNDEFEATED has whipped up another exclusive drop in time for its new Kyoto outpost. The thirteenth UNDEFEATED store in Japan alone, the Kyoto store will enjoy a selection of shirts slightly different to the Osaka goods.
A pair of black shirts host colorful prints that keep in line with UNDEFEATED’s aesthetic, complete with thematic branding. Each Japanese store opening so far has utilized a specific color theme to grant the items special meaning — Kyoto’s hue is a pale blue, which informs the UNDEFEATED tick mark logo and branding that accents each item.
“KYOTO CITY” is printed on the rear of a long-sleeved black shirt, with a text-free logo placed on the chest. Meanwhile, the short-sleeved counterpart boasts a pointillism-style rendering of a basketball player wearing color-coordinated jersey, complementing the imagery designed for the Osaka opening. On the rear, the shirt feature “UNDEFEATED KYOTO” verbiage along with the date of the store’s opening.
Expect the new items to release in time for UNDEFEATED Kyoto’s opening on March 8. They’ll be available alongside the streetwear stalwart’s Spring 2019 collection
