Spike Lee’s 'She’s Gotta Have It' Returns to Netflix for Second Season

Taking a year off between seasons, Netflix announced Spike Lee’s film turned TV series She’s Gotta Have It will return for a second season. The show features street artist Nola Darling (DeWanda Wise) struggling with her newfound success and if she’s able to keep her morals as a creative on her way to mainstream stardom.
It will also showcase the dynamics of Nola’s relationships and how her former flame’s lives have changed as a result of her self-discovering journey. As a result, we check in with characters like Mars Blackmon (Anthony Ramos), who sets out to pursue his true passion of music, the self-involved Greer Childs (Cleo Anthony), and Jamie Overstreet (Lyriq Bent) handling the fallout of his infidelity.
