Breitling Celebrates Bentley's 100 Year Anniversary With New Limited Edition Watch
Available in 18K red gold or stainless steel.
The centenary celebrations at Bentley continue after its recent release of the limited Continental GT Number 9 Edition at the Geneva Motor Show. In honor of its long-standing partnership, Breitling has just released a new limited edition Premier Bentley Centenary.
The new model features a brown elm burl dial mirroring the signature wood veneers Bentley uses in their luxury vehicles. The model is available in 18K red gold or stainless steel, and both come with a diamond-quilted brown leather strap, inspired by the leather seats of Bentley’s cars. Furthermore, the stainless steel version will also come with a bracelet produced in the same material.
Black contrasting sub-dials can be found at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions, while a white tachymeter scale sits on a black inner bezel surrounding the dial. The timepiece is powered by Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01, its in-house mechanical movement allowing for a 70-hour power reserve. Moving onto the movement, its features can be seen through a transparent caseback with a Bentley logo. Although the 18K red gold edition is limited to 200 units, while the stainless steel edition is produced at 1000 units, both respective numbers are inscribed on the back of the watch as well for commemorative purposes.
In other watch news, IWC just auctioned off the watch Bradley Cooper wore to the Academy Awards through Sotheby’s for a charitable cause.
