Retro Americana comes into play via oversized chenille varsity lettering on lightweight scarves and parkas, similarly informing the flower-drenched bowling shirt and oversized varsity sweater.
Elsewhere, pleated selvedge jeans are a contemporary update to a wardrobe staple — likewise, satin field shirts offer an unexpected subversion of conventional menswear codes. Enormous trench coats and extended-length shirting further exemplifies this aim. Mesh shirts and branded leather jackets offer comfort in opposite climates, underlining Art Comes First’s goal to deliver a complete modular wardrobe each season.
