Björk to Reissue Studio Album Discography as Cassette Tapes
From ‘Debut’ to ‘Utopia.’
Music darling Björk is set to reissue her entire studio album discography as limited edition tapes. Spanning from 1993’s Debut all the way up to 2017’s Utopia, the cassettes come in colors reflecting the original album artwork. This follows a recent drop of vintage merchandise from Björk, which included album logo t-shirts and other artwork.
The Icelandic musician is currently gearing up for Cornucopia, a live show helmed by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child director John Tiffany. She’ll be joined by the seven-piece flute ensemble Viibra, a harpist and percussionist for what she calls her “most elaborate stage concert yet.” Cornucopia opens this Spring at The Shed in New York City.
Björk’s cassette reissues are scheduled for an April 26 release.
