Maxfield Los Angeles' "Chairs in Prouvé" Celebrates Iconic Chairs
In preparation of the Frieze Art Fair.
Ahead of the Los Angeles installment of the Frieze Art Fair, Maxfield LA put together an exhibition honoring some of the design world’s most iconic chairs.
The “Chairs in Prouvé” exhibition on now is housed inside the iconic Jean Prouvé Nomade and displays 45 vintage chairs from the retailer’s personal collection. Designers on display include Le Corbusier, Carlo Bugatti, Osvaldo Borsani, Pierre Paulin, Charles & Ray Eames, Henry Botoia, Willy Guhl, Mies Van Der Rohe, Rick Owens, Wendell Castle, Marcel Breuer, Mathieu Matégot, Jean Royére and of course Jean Prouvé.
