Blackmeans Exhibit Its Unique Leather Offerings With a NUBIAN Pop-Up
Reissuing its signature SID VICIOUS JACKET.
After unveiling an upcoming collaboration with 1017 ALYX 9SM, famed leather craftsmen Blackmeans recently teamed up with Tokyo retailer NUBIAN for a special pop-up.
Dubbed “CRFTMAN STORE” -HISTORY OF LEATHER-, the retail experience at NUBIAN Harajuku marks the first reissue of Blackmeans signature SID VICIOUS JACKET in four years. The pop-up places an emphasis on the label’s unique leather offerings and artisanal construction with an installation designed by designers Yujiro Komatsu and Masatomo Ariga.
On until February 11, the SID VICIOUS JACKET will be releasing in vintage wash, damage wash and custom pin and paint iterations in a full-size run (size 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 made specifically for the pop-up). Other items include reissues of Blackmeans archive accessories and a selection of archive jackets which express the history of the brand.
