Andrea Valle Has a Picnic in the Woods in "No More" Video
The video was directed by Morian Thomas.
Andrea Valle — a 22-year-old singer and model from Philadelphia — shares the video for her new single, “No More,” which is directed by Morian Thomas. In the music video, Valle can be seen in the woods as she sings about heartbreak. If the coloring of the video looks familiar, Valle developed the idea for the music video from the 1998 Hype Williams’ cult classic film, Belly.
“We took a lot of inspiration from one of my favorite movies, BELLY,” she told HYPEBEAST. “We added a bunch of shots of the infamous scene of Keisha in the bedroom lying on the bed, with blue lighting to the mood board Morian Thomas and I had; he directed “No More.” He had way more to do with the imagery and ideas than I did. My most favorite of his ideas is the scene where we projected Trenton’s face onto mine, he was able to execute that idea perfectly.”
In 2016, Andrea Valle released her debut EP and is currently working on her upcoming EP, Lovergirl. “I’m working on my second EP called Lovergirl, I’m excited to put out more of who I am and my developed range of sounds, and debut my producing skills,” she adds.
Beyond her music career, Valle is a model who starred in H&M’s spring 2018 campaign film, as well as a recent music video for The Roots’ Black Thought and has worked with Nars, Kim Shui, Jeffrey Campbell and other brands.
