Taking part in this year’s New York Fashion Week, designer Robert Geller presented the Fall/Winter 2019 collection of his eponymous label.

Dubbed “Mountain Climbing to the Moon,” the range is inspired by the sense of adventure shared by Tibetan mountain climbers and astronauts. Compounding the feelings of exploration into a set of garments that traverse both traditional and futuristic technical aesthetics.

The functionality of textiles serves as the main point of interest as wool, nylon and other technical engineered performance fibers in tones of fuschia, neon green and Moon-like grey are used in the construction of the collection. Anchoring the collection is a choice collaboration with Common Projects, which comes in the form of Earth-toned high-tops accented by neon laces.

Geller also teamed up with Canadian outerwear purveyor lululemon on a 12-piece collaboration. The collab marries function, performance and style to fit the needs of urban life and the travel tied to a contemporary lifestyle. The Robert Geller x lululemon capsule is set to hit lululemon locations and lululemon.com come May.
