adidas Consortium Reveals Bold New FYW S-97
A revival of the 1997 original.

After debuting a coastal-inspired style in December, adidas Consortium has revealed its latest sneaker which receives a lively new color direction. The FYW S-97 is a revival of the brand’s original running shoe of the same name, which was first introduced in 1997.
In the upcoming edition, bold red and blue details pop against the white uppers. “FYW S-97” and “adidas EQUIPMENT” is stitched on the tongue, serving as the dominant branding hits. Additional features include an Adiprene insert, Torsion bar-mesh underlays, leather overlays and a wired eyestay construction. As the silhouette is one of the many 30th anniversary releases to celebrate the Torsion system, the name of the technology is branded on the outsole as a final touch.
Look out for the adidas FYW S-97 to become available starting February 16.
