BandGang Lonnie Bands Shares New "Mama Told Me" Video
Detroit’s rap scene continues its incredible rise.
A couple months after linking up with Shoreline Mafia’s OhGeesy for “Homicide,” BandGang Lonnie Bands serves up a new visual for “Mama Told Me.” Notably, the new “Mama Told Me” video was shot in Los Angeles — where BandGang Lonnie now resides — and put together by directors Zach Hurth and Mota Media. As one of the veterans of Detroit’s contemporary rap scene, Lonnie has the potential to reach new commercial and creative heights in 2019.
“Man I’ve been in shit since them diapers / N***a we was drug dealers before we was swipin,” Lonnie raps. “N***a before Percocets it was Vicodin / Before Roxis, we had Oxys in.”
