BandGang & ShredGang Boogz Reconnect for New "G.A.N.G." Video
“When we shot the video, we were on a roll.”
Earlier this summer, BandGang shared an expansive new studio album titled In Too Deep. Continuing to support the effort, the Detroit group revisit In Too Deep for a new visual. Specifically, BandGang has delivered a video for In Too Deep standout “G.A.N.G.” One of 30 tracks featured on BandGang’s recent LP, “G.A.N.G.” also includes additional bars from close collaborator ShredGang Boogz.
“When we shot the video, we were on a roll shooting like 10 videos,” BandGang Lonnie Bands tells us, explaining today’s release. “We was busting them out and this one came about. ‘G.A.N.G’ actually stands for ‘Got A New Gun.’ [BandGang] Masoe came up with that and I immediately knew we needed that for a song.”
Lonnnie Bands also opened up about the guns used for the “G.A.N.G.” videoshoot. “All of the guns are not being used, they are more for collecting, like getting new toys,” he says. “I strummed my gun like a guitar just to be silly and have fun in the video.”
“BandGang has a new project coming out in the top of 2019,” Lonnie Bands adds, looking to BandGang’s future. “I’m working on my own solo project and ShredGang Boogz has a project dropping soon too.”
