ADER error Teases Latest Youth Culture Inspired Footwear Collection With PUMA
Classics and new models are given a new spin.
ADER error–the Korean-based fashion imprint–reconnects with PUMA for their second collaborative collection. The teaser sees the label’s innovative design language –typically witnessed within its own ranks– implemented into both classic and contemporary styles.
Thematically, selections from the assemblage embody the “FASTER THAN YOUTH” ethos, which acknowledges the out-in-front youth culture that sets the pace for the fashion, outside the constraints of current trends. Past models are reinterpreted in a futuristic lens, which establishes a nostalgic reverence for the footwear brand’s history.
Earnestly, fonts on the sneakers appear to be handwritten and are implemented alongside misplaced logos to foster an analogous sense of individuality that the youth champions. Vintage aesthetics are on display through the materialization and unique palettes that are comprised of neutral tones accented by vibrant hues. Furthermore, mesh and leather deck the upper of the RS-X, while the detachable metal lace jewels and ripped double-tongues add nuisance accents. The CELL Venom, California, Basket Platform and RS-1 –OG silhouettes– sustain their core constructive principles, but the distinct use of fabrics, graphical icons and logo placements make the models stand out from previous iterations.
The ADER error x PUMA collection launches globally on PUMA’s website, PUMA stores and select sneaker retailers on February 23.
