Richardson's Graphic-Heavy SS19 Collection Pays Homage to NYC
A new outerwear silhouette is debuted with the line.

Though Richardson ended up cancelling its collaboration with Vans this past December, the brand kicked off the new year by releasing new varsity jackets, incense burners, and backpacks. Following up to its last delivery, the label has unveiled its first round of products for Spring/Summer 2019 and pays homage to New York City along the way.
Various landmarks across the Big Apple, including the Empire State Building and Grand Central Station, make up the background for the SS19 lookbook. The initial drop for the collection includes a graphic-heavy assortment of T-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, accessories and a new statement outerwear piece. “New York” verbiage is printed across the tops in bold black letters, standing out against the neutral white and gray ground colors offered. Richardson debuts a fresh silhouette by way of its Reversible Taped Seam Coaches Jacket, which is made from waterproof nylon and offered in earthy shades of blue and green.
In the bottoms category, the brand revisits its PHPNC Sweatpants, an acronym for the phrase “Play Hard Play Nice Communicate.” The 100% cotton heavyweight fleece style is presented in three colorways, including yellow, blue and orange. A glow-in-the-dark keychain and Richardson branded lighters complete the spring mix.
Accessories range from $8 USD for the lighter up to $12 USD for the keychain, while the tops are priced at $45 USD for the tee and $148 USD for the crewneck. The pants retail for $148 USD, with the Coaches jacket rounding out the bunch at $386 USD.
Richardson’s SS19 styles are available to shop now at the brand’s website and at its New York and L.A. stores.
