Cardi B and Bruno Mars have come together on the “Bodak Yellow” star’s latest single, “Please Me,” a swooning R&B song mixing the two’s signature sounds.

Starting with a typically Mars intro, a combination of harmonious smooth R&B vocals against soothed synths, Cardi soon comes in strong with her well-loved Bronx-tinged flow, then moving into duet vocals with Mars. Cardi’s second verse packs a stronger punch following the love ballad-like chorus, with her bars blending a confident brag of her success and looks.

Not only does this mark a comeback for Bruno Mars after his mini-hiatus, the track also follows Cardi’s success at the recent Grammy Awards, altogether signifying the Bruno Mars-produced track is a surefire hit for the summer charts.

Take a listen to the track on YouTube, or stream it on both Spotify and Apple Music below.

In other music news, Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape is finally available on streaming platforms.
