Following its BILLY’s-exclusive fleece-lined Old Skools, Vans is back with the latest iteration of its BESS NI silhouette. Dubbed “Denim/Marshmallow,” the sneakers have been reconstructed with a variety of bold panels, amplifying textural contrast.

Starting at the top of the tongue, a small leopard faux fur tab is sewn over a rich tartan fabric base, followed by black laces crossing over the forefoot. Blue denim takes a large portion of the lateral sidewalls, complemented by brass eyelets, plaid panels, leopard faux fur, and crisp white side stripes. The medial sides are given beige canvas uppers in contrast, covering the sides and flowing over to the toecap. At the rear, a monochromatic houndstooth pattern covers the heel counter, accented in red embroidery with the numbers “66.” All of these details sit atop a white midsole, finished off with a thin broken line pattern along the foxing.

The Vans BESS NI “Denim/Marshmallow” is currently available at retailers such as YOOX and titolo.ch for $131 USD.

Elsewhere, Blondey McCoy’s adidas Superstar sneakers will be releasing this week.
