Takashi Murakami Releases Kaikai Kiki Flower Collab With READYMADE
After months of teasing.

After months of teasing, Takashi Murakami has now released his collaboration with READYMADE. Centered around the artist’s signature Kaikai Kiki Flower motif, the fashion and art team-up features a pair of shorts and cushion.
Available in three sizes, the vintage military fabric shorts are inspired by classic basketball shorts and riddled with multicolored flower patches arranged in a haphazard manner accompanied by Murakami’s embroidered signature. Each pair comes complete with an elasticated drawstring hem, two-tone band accents zippered rear pockets, READYMADE branding at the rear and dust bag. The 1-meter Kaikai Kiki Flower Cushion is constructed of a repurposed vintage military wool textile and defined by two facial expressions and appliqués attached to the side of the faces.
Priced at ¥500,000 and ¥150,000 JPY respectively (approximately $1,369 and $4,564 USD), the Takashi Murakami x READYMADE Kaikai Kiki Flower Shorts and Cushion available now at Tonari no Zingaro.
