Lil Tecca Releases "Why U Look Mad" Single and Video
Following up to his debut album, ‘We Love You Tecca.’
After launching his debut project, We Love You Tecca, in August, Lil Tecca has followed up with a new single and video titled “Why U Look Mad.” Over a trap-heavy beat produced by Ginseng and Rio Leyva, the emerging Queens rapper makes moves around the city as he spits verses about rising in the music scene and the many tribulations that come along with it.
At just 17 years old, Lil Tecca — whose real name is Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe — is already on the verge of massive stardom. His breakout single “Ransom” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs chart in October, officially claiming the top spot three months after its debut in July. The rapper even released a version of the track featuring the recently deceased Juice WRLD after promising fans a remix if he reached 1,000 comments on an Instagram post — according to a press release, it ended up garnering over 10,000 comments in under 10 minutes.
