Following its ’40s Wool L-FIVE Varsity Jackets, KAPITAL is back with its new 14oz Denim Westerner jacket from the label’s expansive FW19 lineup. The latest piece has been slightly elongated, subtly tweaking the classic American staple for a modern cut.
Four bright yellow smiley face motifs have been embroidered across the sleeves of each arm, popping out from the rich indigo wash of the jean jacket. The piece has been cut from 14oz denim and comes with two chest pockets, dark brass custom buttons and reinforced double-stitched seams. Two of the chest pockets at the front have been placed diagonally under an angular front yoke, while a small “KAPITAL” tab is seen on the left pocket, followed by parallel seams below that run down to the hem. Brass buttons engraved with “KAPITAL” branding are placed at the central closure, chest pockets and cuffs. As a finishing note, two sets of cinch buttons are placed at the back hem, offering a slight taper for a more fitted look.
The KAPITAL 14oz Denim Smile Embroidery Westerner Jacket is currently available at kapital-webshop.jp for $390 USD.
