ABC News Is 'Celebrating Marvel's Stan Lee' in New TV Special
‘Celebrating Marvel’s Stan Lee’ airs Friday, December 20.
ABC News and Marvel Entertainment have come together one year after the passing of the iconic Stan Lee to celebrate the life and legacy of the illustrious comics creator. Partially filmed in front of a live audience at The New Amsterdam Theater in New York City, this hour special takes viewers throughout the life of Lee and the Marvel Universe.
The event will also showcase never-before-seen interviews and archive footage of Lee himself from both ABC News and Marvel archives. Folks from Marvel Studios, such as Tom Hiddleston, Paul Bettany, and Kevin Feige will make appearances alongside figures like Kevin Smith, Bob Iger, Todd McFarlane, Mark Hamill, and more.
Stan Lee is the co-creator of several iconic Marvel Comics heroes, like Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, and Black Panther.
Celebrating Marvel’s Stan Lee airs Friday, December 20 (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET) on ABC.
