Sega Bodega Brings Forth Avant-Pop Flavor in New Single "U Suck"
His debut album is “nearly finished.”
Scottish based artist Sega Bodega has had a riotous year, producing notable works for rapidly unfolding talents Col3trane, Cosima, Shygirl, and more. He equally took his unique “Bedroom” live show and installation across Europe and most recently announced that his debut album is “nearly finished.” To commemorate the news, Bodega has released the project’s first single, entitled “U Suck,” releasing a cinematic visual alongside the cut.
Continuing to exude his future-facing style, Sega’s newest single remains feverishly imaginative. The track’s bedrock remains marked by blasts of avant-pop flavor, Bodega’s vocals are jarringly in-your-face, with electronically-repeated “f*ck yous” and “u sucks” marking throughout. He continues to exhibit his usual hip-hop infusion, spritzing 808 snares and more between the electronic-heavy chassis.
