Take a Detailed Look at the adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 "Alien"
Formerly known as the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V3.

Kanye West is set to expand his adidas YEEZY line’s footwear offerings this fall with the new, tentatively-named YEEZY BOOST 380. Originally known as the YEEZY BOOST 350v3, West’s newest silhouette retains some of the original 350 and 350 v2‘s woven upper and bulbous sole shape, but offers several new design points as well.
The shoe’s top half is made up entirely of a flexible Primeknit. It features an abstract camo-style pattern that offers both light grey and sleek cream tones, plus stripped-back detailing on the midfoot. The sock-like collar reaches up higher on the ankle than past 350 releases, and the heel presents a new angled shape, tilting in ever so slightly at the top.
Down below, the opaque midsole is tinted blue-green and stuffed full of white BOOST cushioning, bending upwards directly behind the midfoot to provide a unique shape not seen before from West’s footwear. Finishing touches are then provided by a cored-out outsole with a wavy herringbone traction pattern and debossed adidas branding.
West has been teasing the sneaker in one way or another since 2018. He shared early design sketches during one of his more active periods on Twitter, and was spotted wearing this exact “Alien” colorway in a paparazzi photo snapped back in August.
It’s rumored to have a November 16 release date with a reported retail price of $230 USD, so stay tuned for further updates as they’re available. If you don’t feel like waiting, this size 11 sample pair — which even bears a 350 v3 hit on the box — is available now at Stadium Goods for $3,605 USD.
In other Kanye-releated news, images of what could be a “Mist” 380 recently appeared, and the cryptic message on the front of his Jesus Is King record was solved as well.
