One Block Down and Converse Present "Protect Your Icon" Chuck 70s
Brushed with resin for a utilitarian feel.

Italian retailer One Block Down and Converse have teamed up for a duo of collaborative Chuck 70s, dubbed “Protect Your Icon.” Inspired by industrial production methods and conceptual design, the two-pack of heritage colorways — “Black” and “Parchment” — nod to the Chuck’s inherent timelessness and simple style. Each pair is also brushed by hand with resin, adding unique flair.
The “Black” pair offers a look that’s almost two-tone, with the black canvas on its encased lower half appearing blue from certain angles thanks to the aforementioned resin coating. This styling then continues on the midsole, and the lateral collar features a special black/white tag with “Protect Your Icon” text and a Converse Chevron logo.
Meanwhile, the “Parchment” retains its signature airy hues on both the upper and the midsole. A similar fabric tag appears on the lateral collar but offers inverse colorblocking by presenting white above black for a touch of dark contrast. Each style is completed with the Chuck 70’s embroidered “All-Star” patch and a brown rubber outsole.
The styles are exclusive to One Block Down and will release November 15 at the Milan location before hitting the One Block Down webstore and Rome retail outpost a day later on November 16. The retail price for each pair is set at €90 EUR (approximately $99 USD).
