Matthew M Williams and Nike Present Outdoor-Inspired Series 003 Collection
Technical apparel and two new takes on the Joyride CC3 Setter.
After teaming up for a camo-equipped Free TR 3, ALYX 1017 9SM head Matthew M Williams and Nike have joined forces yet again for a third full collection of apparel and footwear. Dubbed “Series 003,” the offerings are an appealing amalgamation of workout and outdoor gear, all dressed in a black and red color palette. The collection’s theme is personal to Williams, who stated “being outside is so important. Fresh air and sunlight are proven to be two of the greatest benefits to the health and well-being of humans.”
Men’s garments include an oversized down parka with internal and external pockets, sherpa fleece/water repellant jackets and a layered short. Women’s clothes are present as well, namely a sports bra and a mechanical stretch pant. The accessories offered consist of Williams’ signature chest rigs and branded underwear. Most pieces offer adjustable elements as well. “Each individual expresses his or her own unique sense of style in different ways,” said Williams. “That’s what I love about clothing in general, whether it’s fashion or sportswear. I find that there are so many athletes that have an amazing and inspiring sense of style.”

Footwear is part of the collection too thanks to two special colorways of the Joyride CC3 Setter. A silver makeup is accented with red hits, providing shades of the OG Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” and featuring overlays constructed of hi-vis reflective material. It’s inspired by Milanese sprezzatura — a saying that translates to “studied carelessness.” There’s also a black and red style that offers a simple-yet-effective compliment to the rest of the offerings.
The full Nike x Matthew M Williams Series 003 collection will release on Nike.com come December 5. Retail prices have yet to be announced.
