Alexander McQueen Introduces Chunky "Tread Slick" Sneaker Boots

Alexander McQueen is placing its bet on the chunky shoe game for Spring/Summer 2020. The British luxury label has just debuted the “Tread Slick” model as an update to the “Tread Boots” from Fall/Winter 2018, introducing a hefty, workwear-inspired sneaker boot in an array of primary colors.
Crafted in canvas along the upper, the shoes are offered in both low-top and calf-length editions. No matter the silhouette, the sneakers are defined across the board by their oversized rubber outsole, which measures in at approximately two inches thick. The style is offered in bright shades of royal blue and red, as well as neutrals of black and white to ensure for a transitional palette. Meanwhile, a choice of tonal or contrasting white laces provides the finishing touch.
