jeffstaple and SBTG Team up for Nike Air Force 1 "Pigeon Fury"

Designer jeffstaple and artist SBTG have joined forces for a special, limited-to-30 handcrafted take on Nike‘s Air Force 1, dubbed the “Pigeon Fury.” Mixing Staple‘s signature pink and grey color palette with SBTG’s hallmark camouflage, the design nods to both Staple’s home base of NYC and SBTG’s residence in Singapore.
Constructed with a grey fabric base and matching suede overlays, the shoe’s signature accent is provided by an embroidered abstract camo pattern on the midfoot Swoosh, one that melds a duo of grey tones with lively pops of pink. Each shoe’s lateral heel features a special stamped detail — a pigeon logo on the left foot and Staple’s name in SBTG’s signature Arabic font on the right — while the tongue features a co-branded leather patch that reads “Issue: Staple + SBTG. From: NYC To SIN.” Pink detailing on the cream midsole completes the look, and custom packaging furthers the narrative.
Of special note is the unique release procedure. The shoes will not be sold, as all 30 pairs will be given away via a free-to-enter raffle on staplepigeon.com that begins on November 20 at 1 p.m. EST and ends at the same time on November 21. Interested consumers can also enter the raffle by purchasing a co-branded SBTG x Staple shirt (pictured above).
