Yo Gotti & Lil Uzi Vert Connect with Megan Thee Stallion for New Take on "Pose"

Towards the end of August, Yo Gotti and Lil Uzi Vert came together for a new single titled “Pose.” Produced by the trio of SoundsByBreezy, Ben Billions & JulianBeatz, “Pose” appears to be part of the promotional campaign for Yo Gotti’s next major full-length release, although details concerning that project are scarce. Now, injecting some additional starpower into his latest single, the Memphis icon calls upon Megan Thee Stallion for a new take on his recent Lil Uzi Vert collaboration. Having linked up with Megan Thee Stallion earlier this year for a remix of pop superstar Khalid’s “Talk,” Gotti understands the powerful effect that the Houston rapper can have on a previously-released single and how easy it is for one verse from her to bring a flood of new attention to an older record.

“Hate me? So what? F*ck these hoes, ayy / I need this pussy on his nose, ayy / Spread it, I spread it, I pose, uh / Need a hundred racks for a show, huh,” Megan Thee Stallion boldly spits on “Pose.” “They showin’ pics to their doctor, ayy / They say that ‘Megan is goals,’ ahh / He want me to hit him first, hmm / That’ll happen when he in a hearse, hey.”

“I think this album is going to be one of my classic albums ever,” Yo Gotti previously told Billboard, opening up about his upcoming studio album. “I was just telling somebody on my management team that right now I feel more charged than ever. This is how deep the hunger is. I don’t know if it’s just the hustler nature in me or what, but I can’t even explain this shit.”
